Bachelor’s Degree
Bachelors degree is awarded after four years of successful study.
Graduate Degree
Offered by Graduate Schools and specialized colleges in a wide range of specializations Arts, Sciences, engineering etc
Masters degree
The Master’s level programs are of two years duration.
Doctorate
One can pursue doctoral programme after completing Master’s. Normally, the duration of Doctoral level programs is between 3 and 6 years, depending on the field of research and university.
- IELTS, TOEFL scores as proof of English language skills for admission to any course.
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE) – For entry in to Graduate Programs
- Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is required for admission to MBA and other management programs.
- Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is required for admission in to bachelor level courses
- Law and Medical schools usually require different exams like LSAT and MCAT
The cost of degrees will vary from university to university. Each university has its own cost grading on degrees that they offer. An undergraduate degree can cost anything from NZ$19,000 – NZ$29,000 per year, while post-graduate degrees can cost up to NZ$9,000 per year. Most universities and organizations offer scholarships to students who produce good grades in previous academic achievements.

- Estimated living expenses per year – NZ$10,000-NZ$15,000
Most international students apply for and receive scholarships from universities and colleges. Students have to fill a separate form to apply to for scholarships as scholarship deadlines are earlier than regular decision deadlines. If you have decent high school GPAs and a good standardized score, your chances of getting a scholarship increases.

- Undergraduate Consolidated Marks Memo – Transcripts.
- Undergraduate Provisional Certificate / Convocation – Transcripts.
- 3 Recommendation Letters – Duly attested by the concerned recommender.
- Personal Statement / SOP.
- Resume / CV.
- Financial Certificate / Bank balance Certificate (Approximately for 18-20 Lakhs)
- Affidavit of Support from the sponsor.
- Any other certificate related to academic/extracurricular activities.
