Bachelor’s Degree
Bachelors degree is awarded after four years of successful study.
Graduate Degree
Offered by Graduate Schools and specialized colleges in a wide range of specializations Arts, Sciences, engineering etc
Masters degree
The Master’s level programs are of two years duration.
Doctorate
One can pursue doctoral programme after completing Master’s. Normally, the duration of Doctoral level programs is between 3 and 6 years, depending on the field of research and university.

- Graduate Record Examination (GRE) – For entry in to Graduate Programs
- Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is required for admission to MBA and other management programs.
- Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is required for admission in to bachelor level courses
- Law and Medical schools usually require different exams like LSAT and MCAT
The cost of degrees will vary from university to university. Each university has its own cost grading on degrees that they offer. An undergraduate degree can cost anything from CAD 7,000 to CAD 35,000 per year, while post-graduate degrees can cost up to CAD 35,000 per year. Most universities and organizations offer scholarships to students who produce good grades in previous academic achievements.

WORK RIGHTS & STAY BACK
International students in Canada universities can work on-campus or off-campus for up to 20 hours during university semesters and full-time during breaks such as the winter or summer holidays, without the need for a work permit.
In general, spouses are given the same rights as students who are already in Canada. Therefore, if the student with a Canada student visa has the right to work, the spouse who comes to join him or her will also have that right
